Q: Does it hurt?
A: Of course tattoos hurt. Obviously, some areas are less painful than others, and everyone has different sensations on different body areas.
Q: Do you do custom designs?
A: Yes, we do custom designs that are unique and individual, just like the people that we tattoo! Custom designs usually cost around $50, depending on the size of the piece, and once it is drawn up, you are able to keep that piece of art as well as getting the design tattooed onto you.
Q: Can I bring my own design?
A: Of course you can. The artists tend to like to add their own spin on the designs, so if you want it as an exact replicate, let them know, or be open to suggestion on how it can be changed/improved without losing the initial design's meaning.
Q: Do you have designs I can choose from?
A: We sure do! We have a large number flash books here, and a tattoo reference guide.
We also have three computers that you can google designs from.
Q: I want to get a tattoo at Sin City tattoo essendon, but don’t know what to get, what shall I do?
A: Come in and speak to us. As long as you have a basic idea of what you're after, we can certainly help you. However, keep in mind, if you don't have a basic concept, we can't expand an idea from nothing.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: It depends on what you're after and is at the artists discretion, however, our base rate is $180 per hour. For anything very small and quick (under half an hour) we charge a minimum of $120 Tattoo Essendon.
Q: Do you use needles only once at Sin City Tattoo Essendon?
A: Yes, all needles, razors, ink tubs are all only used once, then disposed of.
Q: Are there any tattoos you won’t do?
A: We are pretty flexible with what we will tattoo, however, if the artist feels uncomfortable, they will mention this once the idea is presented.
Q: How long after getting tattooed can I go in the sun or swim?
A: We advise avoiding the sun during the healing process of the tattoo. Sun damage can be pretty destructive to a tattoo, and will cause fading. Ensure that once the tattoo is healed, if you require going out into the sun that you apply sunscreen when necessary.
It is also important to remember that during the healing process of the tattoo that you do not soak it in water; this includes pools, spas, baths etc. This can also be harmful to the healing of the tattoo.
